You know, it's not really standard for the victims of a kidnapping to also receive the demands.

From what I can tell, we've already been missing for several days. The amount of rations available suggest that we're expected to remain here somewhat longer which certainly suggests a ransom kidnapping. I would say I expect rescue to be imminent, however...

I think it's almost to a certainty that we're no longer in the country. Given the size of this park and the lack of any satellite reception... Well, that's going to delay any sort of armed response.

The plan is fairly obvious. Acting recklessly and drawing unwanted attention to ourselves is only going to make matters worse. Our aim is to avoid attracting attention until my security team manages to find us, or until whatever demands are met. But it also wouldn't be a bad idea to look for information that might lead us to learn where we are being held.
