HE LIKES HIM OBVS. Yukio actually reminds him of his own megane character Kyoya a little, so there is some definite "this is the guy I should talk to when there is scheming to be done :|a" mentality there. And there will very certainly be more scheming!

Actually, there's no negative feelings at all at this point! Tamaki doesn't blame Canary at all for what happened in the game, because it would be kind of ridiculous to have expected them to choose anything else, and it really was Shell's bad alliance-decision-making that caused their downfall. So yes, FRANSHIP \o>

ok i am genuinely kind of awkwardly confused as I admit that Yukio is incredibly likely to get a crush on Tamaki v(unsure)v WHICH IS THE CORRECT RESPONSE TO TAMAKI. but this has never happened with an Excel character before...

ANYWAY. YUKIO LIKES. KIND. PEOPLE.... He just. He does. Tamaki is definitely in the Shiemi category of YOU ARE KIND OF RIDICULOUS but far too genuinely nice as a person for me to hold that against you. So despite being a stoic megane he really just accepts Tamaki's... particular Tamakiness as a thing that happens and is fine and whatever. He was all set to NEVER TAKE TAMAKI SERIOUSLY but then Tamaki actually took things seriously??? And was actually genuinely helpful and everything?? So. yeah. Yukio likes Tamaki a lot and is probably the person on Shell he trusts the most (he LIKES Kaoru a lot but he can tell Kaoru is both more prone to pranks and collapsing in on his feelings during times of stress).

And so yes. I don't know. That sure is a dere that is going to get bigger. S H R U G.

IT'S OK, as usual no one is more confused at me playing Tamaki Suoh than me.

He feels pretty good about it. He's even a little excited! I dunno how well his enthusiasm is going to last him when shit gets real, but it gives him a sense of being able to do something positive for himself and his team. A little bit of agency, if you will.
